Brief Biography

Belinda VonBehren is one of the Regional Schoolwide Positive Behavior Support Consultants with the Northwest RPDC located on the NWMSU Campus in Maryville.  She serves 24 schools in 11 districts in northwest Missouri.

Belinda joined the RPDC in the Fall of 2009 after being an elementary classroom teacher in the North Nodaway School District for 15 years, where she taught kindergarten, Title 1 Reading, 4th grade and 2nd grade.  She served on the Professional Development Committee for the majority of her time at North Nodaway and felt very strongly about professional growth for all staff.  In her new role, it is a delight to teach teachers and help them grow professionally everyday. Although SW-PBS was not being implemented in her school, Belinda utilized the components in her classroom to ensure little to no instructional time was lost.

Belinda lives in Maryville with her two daughters, Madison and Mollie.  Both girls attend Maryville Middle School and keep her very busy with evening activities.
