Brief Biography

Danielle Starkey is a Regional Schoolwide PBS Consultant with the Heart of Missouri RPDC, housed in the College of Education, University of Missouri – Columbia. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology with a minor in Statistical Methods from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri and a Master of Education Degree in School Counseling from the University of Missouri – Columbia.

Prior to joining the RPDC as a SW-PBS Consultant in July 2010, Danielle worked as an Elementary School Counselor at South Park Elementary in Moberly, Missouri. At South Park, Danielle facilitated the SW-PBS Tier II Team and was an active member of the SW-PBS Tier I Team, the Building Leadership Team, and Student Care Team. These experiences allowed her to see the first hand benefits of implementing SW-PBS and prompted her desire to train schools and districts on SW-PBS.

Aside from her role at the RPDC, Danielle enjoys spending time with her husband, Nicholas, and her family.
