Brief Biography

Karen Wigger is one of the Regional School-wide Positive Behavior Support Consultants with the Northwest RPDC located on the NWMSU Campus in Maryville.

Karen joined the RPDC in July of 2011 after retiring with 32 years of service in the public school system.  Her experiences include teaching 2nd, 4th EMINTS, and 6th grades.  She was a Reading First Literacy Coach as well as a STARR teacher.  It was through her STARR experience that Karen developed an appreciation and desire to deliver professional development to educators.

Outside the workplace, Karen and her husband live on a farm where they raise sheep.  They have two grown sons that live in Southern California
