Brief Biography

Kelley Ritter, Ph.D. is a Regional School-wide PBS consultant with the Southwest Regional Professional Development Center, located in Springfield at Missouri State University.  The Southwest RPDC serves over 90 districts in Southwest Missouri.

Dr. Ritter joined the Southwest RPDC in August 2010 after 18 years of educational experiences in the secondary and post secondary areas. Her certification areas include Family & Consumer Sciences, 7 – 12 and Health, 7 – 12. Her teaching background includes multiple school settings from Southwest Barry County, Rolla Public Schools, Marshfield Public Schools, Columbia Public Schools and Lebanon Public Schools. Her post secondary work includes the University of Missouri – Columbia and the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. These experiences provide a unique blend of expertise to share with area SW-PBS teams.  Dr. Ritter is a native to the Springfield area, growing up in one of the smaller rural communities. She includes four legged animals in her immediate family and enjoys everything having to do with life.
