Brief Biography

Tricia began her teaching career as a special education teacher in Hollister MO. Since that time she has taught and developed special programs for the Springfield, MO and Nixa , MO public schools. Prior to becoming a SW PBS Consultant, Tricia was an independent contractor contracting with school districts, teaching students who were visually impaired or blind. She consulted with ophthalmologists in the Springfield area, developing a model for a rehabilitation center for children who are blind or visual impaired.  Tricia received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Missouri State University in Springfield.

Along with her apartment in St. Louis, Tricia resides in Nixa, MO. She is married and is the proud mom of 3 children and “Grammy” of 2 beautiful grand-daughters. She is an avid camper, reader and enjoys family time at the lake on their boat. Pets are a large part of her life as well, with 4 dogs, 2 cats, and 4 horses.
