Tier 1 or Universal Training Materials

Tier 1 SW-PBS is comprised of Seven Essential Components which are individually and collectively research based. The Seven Essential Components are applicable to classroom as well as non-classroom settings throughout all school buildings. Embedded within the Seven Essential Components are culturally responsive practices and family and community involvement.

Tier 2 or Secondary Level

Information about  Tier 2 (also referred to as  Secondary or Targeted) systems and interventions for students who have been identified in need of supports beyond the  Universal Level  will be cataloged on this page.

Tier 3 or Tertiary Level

Information on Tier 3 (also referred to as Tertiary or Individual) level interventions for individuals who remain non-responsive to Tier 1 / Universal or Tier 2 / Secondary interventions.

MO SW-PBS selected eight practices as being evidenced effective classroom strategies across multiple sources for instruction related to academics and social/behavioral skills.  Professional Development training resources are linked at this site.
